Ian Wong specializes in litigations and dispute resolution, with an emphasize on Personal Injury, Employees’ Compensation, Occupational Safety and Industrial Undertakings, and Employment Law-related cases. 

Ian Wong is also experienced in handling general civil litigations, covering topics of contract, trust, and tort-related claims, and in criminal defences, including representing high-profile public figures in ICAC and fraud related investigations and defences.

Law field experience and skill

Instructing solicitor in the following trials: 

DCCJ 4308/2021 [2024] HKDC 719, an employment case establishing that the employer owes a positive duty of enquiry and accommodation to a mentally incapacitated employee. 

DCPI 1651/2017 [2019] HKDC 1161, a personal injuries case in which the court ruled in favour of my client despite the police finding no case to prosecute the defendant at the criminal investigation stage.
